A 25 - years- old man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly beating up a 71-year-old man during a road rage attack this past weekend. Police say the incident was reported at about 6 p.m. Saturday.

When police arrived to the scene they found a 71-year-old man who was hit in the face several times. The man told the police he was pulled from his car on the side of the road after another car tailgated him for about four miles.

In an interview with AFP, President Buhari said that if Boko Haram members return all Chibok girls they kidnapped , he may decide to grant Boko Haram prisoners amnesty.
He said :

“We are trying to see whether we can negotiate with the Boko Haram prisoners in our custody for the release of the Chibok girls. If the Boko Haram leadership eventually agrees to turn over the Chibok girls to us, the complete number, then we may decide to give them (the prisoners) amnesty.”

TAYLOR SWIFT SUED BY RADIO DJ :

Taylor Swift's ass is in the middle of a lawsuit ,a former Denver radio DJ said he got canned after her security accused him of grabbing Taylor's cheeks.

David Mueller says he was attending a Swift concert in Denver in 2013 and was invited backstage. According to Denver Post, Mueller says he and his Girlfriend took a photo with Swift and then left to enjoy the show.

Mueller says he later ran into a co-worker who was bragging about putting his arms around Taylor and grabbing her butt during his photo op with her.

Here's where it gets interesting ... Mueller says in a lawsuit, he was approached by one of Taylor Swift's security guards who accused him of grabbing Taylor's tush and kicked him out of the arena. Mueller says he was fired from his country music station because of the incident.

He's suing Taylor, although it's unclear if she had any idea any of this mess the accusation or Mueller's firing.

CHIWETEL EJIOFOR BREAKS UP WITH GIRLFRIEND, SARI:

Sun reports that British-Nigerian actor, Chiwetel Ejiofor has broken up with his model girlfriend, Sari Mercer.

It quotes a source as saying:

“It’s sad but the relationship came to a natural end. Sari was always such a big part of his life so it was definitely a big surprise to hear they had separated.”

TANKERS AND TRUCKS RESTRICTION CLARIFIED IN LAGOS :

After the restriction placed on trucks and trailer by the Lagos state govt, not to ply the roads between the hours of 6am-9pm, the Lagos State Government has come out to make clarification of the Section of the Road Traffic Law 2012 which restricts trailers and long vehicles and also the classes of vehicles.

In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transportation, Mr. Oluseyi Whenu, the government said while Section 2 of the Traffic Law ‎restricts movement of trailers and long vehicles, only petrol tankers and long vehicles used in conveying passengers are allowed to travel within the metropolis between the stipulated time.

Vehicle with more than one real axle or six tyres are hereby restricted between the hours of 6am and 9pm with the exemption of the following in accordance with Section 2 and 38 of the Road Traffic Law 2012.

“These exemptions are tour bus/passenger buses, fire service trucks, rescue and recovery trucks, patrol trucks, perishable farm products trucks, refuse collection trucks‎, cement mixer trucks, tractors and refrigerated trucks”,

Whenu said the clarification became necessary following the controversy generated by the enforcement of the Law, ‎after a fatal accident involving a container laden trailer claimed three lives in the state a fortnight ago.

He said the state government remains committed to the protection of lives and properties of residents irrespective of social, cultural or economic classification and therefore solicits the compliance, cooperation, support and understanding of all and sundry as regards the renewed enforcement of the Law.
I pray the tanker and truck driver comply to this.

Prince Naseem Hamed was Britain's youngest world champion in 1995, beating Steven Robinson to win the WBO featherweight title aged just 21.

Not less than seven people were victim of the incident after a popular hotel, the Mekaval hotel situated in Effurun-Warri in Delta state collapsed at about 2am today September 9th, 2015.
