OPRAH WINFREY MEETS HER ESTRANGED "SECRET SON":

Popular American presenter/media mongul and  philanthropist Oprah Winfrey was ambushed by a young man claiming to be her 'secret son' after she left a recent taping of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The 61years old Oprah was photographed as she attempted to deal with the man amicably. The young man involved , Calvin Mitchell, during the awkward encounter outside Colbert's New York studio.
Mitchell told Radar on Wednesday that Winfrey once asked his mother to adopt him at age 11 after he and the billionaire mogul met on the 1992 set of ABC's movie-of-the-week, There Are No Children Here.

BRITISH/GHANIAN ACTOR SAM SARPONG COMMITS SUICIDE:

  40 years old British-born/Ghanaian actor and model Sam Sarpong died in Southern California after jumping from a bridge which resulted to his death on Monday afternoon in Pasadena, where he lived. The Los Angeles County coroner's office says the case is being investigated as a possible suicide. But what caused hasn't been determined yet.God knows what prompted him to commit suicide
Pasadena police say he jumped from the Colorado Street Bridge following seven hours of attempts to talk him down.
Sarpong had a series of small roles in movies and TV shows, including "Bones" and "Boston Public" and co-hosted MTV's 2006 show, "Yo Momma." He was also Omoni Oboli's husband in the movie, Anchor Baby.

TEENAGE STABBED TO DEATH DURING BREAK:

A teenage boy was stabbed to death in a lunchtime attack inside his school.
The pupil, who has not been named but is thought to have been a fifth year student, was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after he was attacked yesterday afternoon.
The shocking incident happened at the Cults Academy school in Aberdeen and reports suggest it happened in a hallway.
Posting on Twitter, Aberdeen Police revealed they had launched a murder investigation following the attack.

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC JUST BOUGHT A CHURCH :

Popular talented swedish footballer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is drawing closer to God in his homeland after we heard a report of him  buying a church in Stockholm.
Fastighetsvarlden, a real estate publication in Sweden, claims the striker has invested 110 million Swedish Krona, [£8.51m] in a site in one of the captial’s suburbs Ostermalm.
Swedish media claims Jurka Gravic, Zlatan’s mother, is part of the holding company who bought  the property, but her son’s name,Zlatan Ibrahimovic is on the registered property documents.
The property, known as Lindormen 13, was previously a church but has recently been renovated into residental buildings.
The property has so many features.

The World Bankk says it needs additional time to provide detailed  information on the spending of recovered funds looted by the late Nigerian Head of State, Sani Abacha.
The World Bank told the human rights group seeking information on the loot, which is about seven billion dollars, that for now it is compiling information on the spending.
According to the World Bank :
“In response to your request, we would like to inform you that we are still considering your request and we will need additional time because the money involved is too huge for us to handle.”

His ex-wife mother, Jenner visited him yesterday and brought his kids along with her so he could spend time with them. Rob Kardashian has told doctors he’s willing to donate his kidney to his brother-in-law Lamar Odom after it condition shows  he may need a transplant in order to save his life.
Reports say the 28-year-old sock designer has shown willingness to do whatever is necessary to save the life of the 35-year-old basketball player after it emerged he may need a kidney transplant following his drugs and alcohol binge earlier this month.
A source told DailyMail.com: ”Rob is willing to do whatever it takes to help Lamar recover. If that means donating a kidney then so be it, Rob has a big heart and he’s willing to step up to help his friend.”

AN EXPLOSION HAPPENED IN LAGOS TODAY :

A substance that is yet to be identified  exploded in Oworo Road, Oworonsoki area of Lagos State  today  Sunday causing panic and chaos . The eyewitnesses said the incident occurred at about 2 :15 pm, when residents were returning to their respective homes after church.
At the time of this report, the number of casualties  cannot be ascertained though it was learnt that many sustained injuries in attempts to safe their life when they tried to escape from the scene of the blast.

APPLE ADDS BLUETOOTH 4.2 TO IPHONE 6, 6+ AND IPAD AIR 2

Apple announced that Bluetooth 4.2 is now  available for  iPhone 6s, iPad Pro and iPad mini 4 last month, Apple published product comparison charts suggesting that same technology was also activated in older hardware. The company recently confirmed that change by updating specific product pages for iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2.
As seen in the screenshots above,  on the day Apple unveiled its fall product lineup, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Air 2 are listed as supporting the new Bluetooth 4.2 standard. At the time, detailed product pages dedicated to the three devices did not reflect such  change, instead listing compatibility with Bluetooth 4.0, causing some confusion as to real product capabilities.

Yes at 3am. I was a voracious soda drinker, would take at least 4 bottles a day and for me it was no big deal.
